H-F-L-Team: Top Three Considerations Before Working at Home

Working at home can have many benefits and perks. It may be your ticket to living your Hundred-Fold-Life. It is very alluring to people who are tired of going to and living a 9 to 5 life. Working at home allows you to stay more connected to your family and gives you a freedom that just is not possible with a regular job. Then again, it is not all good all the time. Remember it’s still a job and it still requires work and responsibility. Here are the top three considerations before working at home.
1. Be fully committed.
Working at home requires you to be fully committed to the process of finding a job and then be committed to the job. Don’t let outside influences of family and friends to interfere with getting the job done. You have to focus and set boundaries. You have to make a place and time for working, time management is important. It is important to understand that it is a job and requires attention. If you are not ready to be committed to the job completely then working at home may not be for you.
2. Take it seriously.
Again it is a real job, you must treat it as one. You have to take the whole process seriously. That means you need to be professional. Don’t forget how important it is. You need to keep focused, that this is what now pays the bills. There should never be a time when work is treated as less important then it is. You have to act the same way you would in a job outside the home or you will fail. Putting work off on occasion for some personal issue is okay, if you make the time up later, but doing it frequently is not taking the job seriously.
3. Never quit.
It can be real easy to quit on working at home because it is not easy. It’s common misconception that working at home is easier, then it actually is, and at times, harder then working outside the home. It’s a challenge when friends and family do not take it seriously and think they can bother you anytime they want. They may not understand this is a real job and they may think you are just goofing off. It is important to always be serious when working and not let them interfere.
Also, finding a work at home job can be challenging. There are many hurdles to go through and a lot of research to be done to find a work at home position. Never quitting means pushing through it all and flowing with the ups and downs of the process.
Working at home can be wonderful, but by keeping these three points in mind you can avoid common problems. These three points can really highlight the things that need to be considered before getting into working at home. If you don’t think you can over come them then working at home may not be the best idea. If you can overcome them, then there are amazing opportunities in the work at home field. If it looks right for you great! It may be your ticket to fully living your Hundred-Fold-Life.

H-F-L-Team: 5 Obstacles to Working at Home

Working at home is no day at the beach. Most people understand that, but sometimes they do not understand the obstacles associated with it. Outlined here are the five obstacles to working at home. These obstacles will not stop a you from working at home but can lead to problems and mess up any chance for success, and fulfilling your Hundred-Fold-Life in the work at home environment.
Obstacle #1
Time Management
There is a lot of freedom when working at home, so being able to manage time efficiently is very important. It’s easy to get distracted and let time get away. Also if you underestimate how long a task or job will take and not allot enough time for it you will fall behind. To keep time from being a obstacle you need to develop a schedule and be sure to schedule both work and free time. Then stick to it!
Obstacle #2
Boundaries
Often family and friends do not take working at home seriously which will lead to problems with boundaries. When you tell someone ‘Hey I’m working’ but you’re at home, sometime they don’t understand and accept it. To help with boundary issues you should set up a work at home area that is specifically for work, and off limits. When in the work area set rules such as no personal phones calls or interruptions.
Obstacle #3
Too Much Freedom
Working at home is about freedom, but too much independents cause problems. We all need interaction with others. One of the benefits of working outside the home is interacting with other people. When you work at home it’s easy to withdraw into that world and overlook the outside world. The outside world is important, though. Networking is an important part of working at home success. If you work at home find some type of online community to network with so you can spend sometime with others.
Obstacle #4
Being Disconnected
This happens with independence. Being disconnected means not staying informed. Working at home you need to stay informed and knowing what is going on in the industry in which you are working. You can reconnect by joining chamber of commerce and civic groups, and they are helpful to develop real personal contacts.
Obstacle #5
Little Support
Again, often family and friends will not be supportive. It is common for them to think that you are not really working and not just goofing-off. To overcome this show them what your doing. You should show them what you are working on, how much money you make, your goals, and make it clear that this is a real job.
Conclusion
These five obstacle are going to be an issue for almost everyone who works at home. They are challenges that can be overcome, don’t let them lead to you giving up on your dream. Overcoming obstacles will just make you a better worker and teach you important skills you need to survive in the work at home environment, and ultimately living your Hundred-Fold-Life.

Is being your own boss part of your Hundred-Fold-Life? Are you ready to be your own boss?
If it is, being your own boss is a great experience. It is liberating and it can be like a dream come true for many of us. Then again, being your own boss is also a lot of responsibility and often it is a struggle. You must be able to stay motivated and focused enough to be your own boss. If you are committed to this, you can learn how to be your own boss by understanding the challenges of the job.
When you’re a regular employee meeting deadlines and getting things done is something that you just do, because if you don’t you know you will be fired. When you have a home based business though, those rules are sometimes a bit relaxed. The old boss is gone and not standing over your shoulder saying things need to get done. Clients may not be pressuring you, but that doesn’t mean they are not noticing the lack of progress on your part. Being your own boss boils down to being responsible and meeting deadlines. This requires a good time management and being able to stay focused and on task.
It’s too easy to let the independence of the situation take control. You may be so happy that you can do what you want that often that you forget about the work part of working at home. This is where problems come about. Keeping a good schedule and sticking to it can prevent problems with too much independence.
Another problem is that finding a work at home job, or a home-based business can sometimes be difficult. It takes time and it is important for you to not get frustrated or let the stress get to you. You must stay focused and keep at it. Having a professional attitude will really go a long way to helping a you secure a work at home position, or get that home-based business up and running. Persistence is key. You need to keep applying and soon you will find that work at home position, or keep developing your home-based business. It’s also helpful to network and learn more about all the opportunities out there.
Many people are not used to having to sell and promote themselves. In the traditional working environment most people are chosen for a job on the criteria of whether or not they can do the job. In the work at home environment, though, employers want to know you are capable of doing the job and capable of working at home, with little supervision. This involves you having to sell yourselve to the employer so they know they know that you can get the job done.
Working at home in a home-based business or home worker and being your own boss is a challenge. If it was easy then everyone would be doing it. That is why only some people can make working at home work for them, because they understand that it is work. Being your own boss involves being responsible, staying focused, being persuasive and being committed. There’s no room for slackers because that will only lead to failure . Being your own boss and controlling your Hundred-Fold-Life can be a very rewarding experience, but remember that it requires a strong will and drive to reap the rewards.

While searching to build or strengthen your home-based business and your Hundred-Fold-Life you may have come across something called an affiliate program. Affiliate programs are everywhere on the Internet and they can also be a very profitable and successful choice, or they can lead to failure. The key to success is, understanding them before getting involved with one.
First let’s look at the difference between an affiliate program and a pyramid scheme. The two may appear similar, but there is a key difference. The significant and most important difference is that with an affiliate program there are products or services being sold. In a pyramid scheme no products or services are sold, which is why they are illegal, and must be avoided. The reason that they get confused is that both involve recruiting others in order to earn money. However, with an affiliate program recruiting is only a component of the income. Selling real products is another way to earn money and recruiting others is not even mandatory to earning money.
The main premise of an affiliate program is that it starts with a company that has a product to sell. That product could be something tangible like shoes or flowers; it can also be information such as a “How To” book or e-book. The company then makes a decision to find people who will help sell their products or services for them. Then the company recruits these people, they are called affiliates. The affiliates then earn a commission for each product they sell. Simple. Often the company will supply the affiliate with a clone website and the tools they need to get started. The affiliates job then becomes one of advertising that website and selling the products to earn a commission.
Along with selling the products or services, an affiliate is encouraged to get others to sign up for the program. Which is great because when an affiliate gets others to sign up they then earn money on that affiliates sales also. That process keeps on going so that you can earn money on people who sign up many levels beneath you. This is the real money making part of an affiliate program, however, if nobody sells anything then no money is made. You can’t earn money simply by signing up people if nobody is selling anything.
The reason affiliate programs are so popular is because they are simple to get into. Many companies have well established programs that make getting started simple. Furthermore, the earning potential is massive if you really put effort into sales, advertising and recruiting new affiliates. With an affiliate program you are really in control of how much you earn. It is a great idea if you are interested in a home-based business without all the start up work, and cost.
In order to be really successful with an affiliate program you need to choose the program intelligently and then use it wisely. So do your homework and choose an affiliate program with good products and a good reputation. To earn big money you must do both parts, selling products and recruiting others to do the same. Affiliate programs may be the key to your Hundred-Fold-Life when it comes to a home-based business, which will be inexpensive to start up and has a very good potential for success.
