H-F-L-Team:Working at Home Networking Is KeyCopyright © Douglas Miller Hundred-Fold-Life
http://www.ClixGo.comIf your Hundred-Fold-Life is built around a home-based business then networking is going to be an essential part of your success.
Networking has always been an important facet of the business world, but in the work at home setting it is key. In the traditional business world, upper level people in the company usually do the networking while the employees just go do their job without giving it a second thought. However, in the work at home environment, networking is the key to your success.
It is the same with all home-based business; networking is important and needs to be done. Networking is a great way to find good customers and or partners to build a business and stay on top.
Networking is basically socializing. That sounds like fun and it can be but remember that it is your business that you are representing, so keep it professional. In the work at home field it is talking with other people whom work at home, and learning from each other. Checkout websites dedicated to connecting people who work at home. A web search will yield great results.
Then go and attend those events.
It is important that you understand the protocol, though, of work at home networking. There are some unwritten ‘rules’ about networking that you need to know or else they could ruin their ability to successfully network.
While the Internet may seem like a pretty large place, it really is not. Many people know each other and word can travel quickly. It is like a small town. That’s why you have to be careful when you are networking.
The first things is that you should know is that you cannot just jump in and start bombarding people with questions. It is important to make friends first and ask about the other persons business, then move into to yours.
Another thing to avoid is being phony. People will quickly catch on and they will not talk with someone who is being phony. Honesty is always best. Don’t go from one event to another and trying to act like a different person at each one. Often many people go to the same events and people will talk about each other, so be real.
Lastly, you need to know that employers and potential customers often frequent these events so it is always best to be professional. You should not say something that you would not be proud of or reflect poorly on you of your business.
Networking can be the key to getting into the work at home world and being a success. It is nearly impossible to get into a good work at home position without networking. Networking will also keep you protected because it is a great way to find scams and avoid pitfalls. Networking can be used to find customers make friends and get great information. Working at home can be lonesome at times and networking can give you an outlet to be with other in the same boat and provide that working environment that is lacking in the home-based business world.
Your Hundred-Fold-Life needs to be made up friends and allies that you can go to for help and build each other up. Networking is a great way to achieve that goal.
