The last stage of establishing a business online is the website. Because it serves to represent the business' image and provides total convenience for potential customers, the website is by far one of the most important parts to the business. Therefore, every aspect of its creation must be overseen with precision. Remember that your site will reflect how your business will be perceived. Depending on whether or not the business owner does the work her- or himself or hires a professional web designer to do the job, knowledge of web construction is imperative. If the latter is the case, the expenses will naturally be higher, although some instructional software might be necessary for business owners to teach themselves, so that will have some cost as well. Those preparing the website should do personal analyses to determine will need to be paid and establish a budget to cover it. This includes, too, the basic template which is advised to be used for the home page. This tool can be purchased and downloaded from any of various sites online at a price falling anywhere from $30.00 to over $200.00. Before buying, however, one should weight the pros and cons of employing one ore more of these implements. This alone will definitely affect expenses to some extent, depending on which template is bought and how many. Despite the cost, the webpage template has several advantages to making one's own. First of all, the template is professional-looking in its visual quality. This will indeed inspire confidence in those who gaze upon it. There is also the consideration of preorganisational design. These templates accommodate the basic need of every single business: menus, title space, color and style, tables, and link icons for email, identity page and links space. Another innovation is the possibility of utilizing more than one template in constructing the entire site, which would illustrate diversity in the variety of style as displayed through each page having its own appearance. This would require more than one template to apply, although a single template can be modified as necessary. However, one page can bring consistency in appearance and arrangement to the site, as every page would look the same. In either case, cost will definitely come into play, and between them costs will undoubtedly vary. For those who are building their own page, HTML and PHP knowledge, paint and photo shop, and clipart uploading will be necessary for implementing page coding. Just as much time will go into studying webpage design as it does in conceptualizing the business and getting own the Mission Statement, the Procedural Policies, even the budget itself. It is for these and other reasons that the design, construction and price rely strongly and directly on the business owner, who it is, what that person's knowledge and skills are, and the person's personal preferences and funding. Once it is all determined, however, the next stage will be to laying out the entire webpage in detail to see what it will look like when completed. This will be the very first visual representation of the online business to emerge for anyone to see . . . . There are some pretty convincing writers out there that can write convincing copy that can make all but the truly skeptical dive into a business opportunity that, if they took two minutes to consider the information, they would never think twice about again (I don't want to tell you how many times I've did that in the past). A few years ago their spiel would have been accompanied by a pat on the back and a brilliant smile as they took your money in person. Today's business scammers do not have to worry about meeting you face to face and they can fleece a lot more people in a shorter period of time before worrying about the police knocking at their door. Finding them can be virtually impossible as they can change email addresses and websites in a matter of minutes and never have to give real information to the website providers. Fortunately, there are a few things you can keep watch for that can keep you from falling for the many traps these scammers set for the unwary, as you are working toward your Hundred-Fold-Life. The first thing to avoid is the urgency trap. Any offer that comes with a time limit or a membership limit should be ignored right from the start. The offer may claim that it will expire in one hour and even have an onscreen clocking ticking down the minutes until you can no longer take advantage of this amazing offer. Go ahead, close the page and then go back to it and, amazing as it may seem, the clock is back to 60 minutes and the countdown begins again. Another one is the offer that claims it is the only time this offer will appear and if you close the screen, you will never have the chance again. Would it not be nice if that were truly the case? However, go through the process again and see all the same offers and the same warnings that you ignored the first time. It may not be unusual for many businesses to require a fee upfront to become part of their distribution network but before you send them any cash you will want to know exactly what you are going to get in return for your investment. Companies that require their distributors to purchase products for personal use in order to be eligible to earn commissions on sales may be borderline illegal. Buying product at wholesale for resale is not all that unusual, but if you do not have a retail outlet and the company takes all the orders and handles all warehousing and shipping but requires you to make a monthly purchase for your own personal use, it may be best to walk away. Most home business opportunities will require an upfront payment with a money back guarantee. If you ever find one that offers to set you up in business and you do not have to pay upfront until you make enough money to pay the fee, jump on it. If they were so certain you could make a killing in their business, they should be willing to take the chance. In your search for your Hundred-Fold-Life don't be pressured into a quick deal. Take time to do your research. Taking action is important for success but not action that have no thought behind it. There are many great opportunities online but for every great one there are two if not three that are not. I experienced failures and outright rip-offs, but I am fortunate to have found my successful online business. I did, I spent time like the most of you with family and friends. I ate to much but what the heck plenty of time for the gym in January. Speaking of January it's that time for making resolutions for the new year. I know I have tried and I am sure many of you do the same with varying results. This year I'm going a different rout. No more resolutions why, because they don't work. I may go for up to a week if I'm lucky then I fall back into old habits. Then I feel like cr@p for no being able to follow through. There has to be a better way to make changes, and yes there is. Back on August 28th. The blog that I posted was about Intention Boards. I'll just give you the main points. It is about am exercise that I and my team members do. It involves cutting out of magazines pictures of thing that we want in our lives. It can be anything from a new car to finding the love of our lives. Then you paste them on a board so you will look at it each day for inspiration and help achieving those goals. You may reread it hereLooking back on past boards that I have done I have had good results from it. Now I have found an even better way to do it, and make it more powerful and real. I am excited to share it with all of you. We think in moving pictures. When you think of a past memory lets say of your child you see them running or playing or what ever. When you see that new BMW or Ford Super Duty Truck you see yourself driving it. This new way is a program that lets you put together your own powerful meaningful movie. It includes scrips for you to add to the pictures. Such as your dream home with the words "Payed In Full" across the screen. You then watch it twice a day to because it will be embedded deep into your subconscious and you will start to act upon them. You could even download it on to your ipod and take it with you. I have found a lot of it and I try to pass on the stuff that I have found helpful. Often the free downloads do try to up sell you on the back end, and that's OK. It's OK because many are useful and profitable. The good part is that you don't have to buy it if it is not something that is right for you. What you do end up with is information that you can use to compare with other programs that you may be considering to purchase. The more info you have the better. As I have said over and over is check them out before you buy. I have made enough mistakes for the both of us, before I adhered to my own advise.
